Lee Park is thrilled and grateful to be able to offer direct psychotherapy and counselling through Canada Online Therapy to make it easier for people to access mental health services online. Lee is a graduate of McGill University with a Masterโs in Counseling Psychology and holds an Honours Psychology degree from Saint Maryโs University. With 14 years of experience as a psychotherapist, Lee has worked in various settings, including oncology, palliative care, post-surgery, emergency wards, private clinics, universities, Employee Assistance Programs, rehabilitation clinics, multidisciplinary healthcare centers, and neurotherapy clinics.
Leeโs background includes working in education and hospital systems, providing a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health services. For the past two years, Lee has been contracted by federal organizations to lead trauma clinics for executives and their teams, offering group therapy to help navigate critical incidents and trauma, fostering team cohesion.
Lee is particularly drawn to private practice, valuing the focus on individualized client care. Trained in Internal Family Systems, Emotionally Focused Therapy, EMDR, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Lee brings a versatile therapeutic approach. Lee specializes in psychodynamic psychotherapy, helping clients explore and address core issues empathetically.
With a passion for therapy, Lee works with individuals, couples, and families from various professional backgrounds. The goal of Leeโs therapeutic work is to foster critical thinking, emotional independence, processing, and authentic personal fulfillment, joy, and growth.
